"Diablo 2" Character Specs

      Players start "Diablo II" as an Amazon, Necromancer, Barbarian, Sorceress, Paladin, Druid or Assassin. Deciding which character can be either an aesthetic or game play choice. If you want to the character that best suits your playing style, it will be helpful to know their character specs. The specs determine what the character's weaknesses and strengths are.

    Amazon

    • The Amazon starts off with 20 strength, 25 dexterity, 20 vitality, 15 energy, 50 hit points, 84 stamina, and 15 mana. At each level the Amazon gains 2 life, 1 stamina, and 1 1/2 mana. In addition, 1 vitality point gives the Amazon 1 stamina and 3 life. Finally, the Amazon receives 1 1/2 mana for every 1 energy point.

    Necromancer

    • The Necromancer starts off with 15 strength, 25 dexterity, 15 vitality, 20 energy, 45 hit points, 79 stamina, and 25 mana. Whenever the Necromancer gains a level he receives 1 1/2 life, 2 stamina, and 1 mana. He gets 2 life and 1 stamina for every vitality point and 2 mana for every 1 energy point.

    Barbarian

    • The Barbarian starts with 10 mana, 55 life, 91 stamina, 10 energy, 25 vitality, 20 dexterity and 30 strength. Whenever the Barbarian goes up a level, he gains 1 stamina, 2 life, and 1 mana. He gets 1 mana for each energy point and 4 life and 1 stamina for each vitality point.

    Sorceress

    • The Sorceress begins with 40 hit points, 74 stamina, 35 mana, 35 energy, 10 vitality, 25 dexterity, and 10 strength. With each level the Sorceress gains 1 life, 1 stamina and 2 mana. She gets 2 life and 1 stamina for each vitality point, and 2 mana for every energy point.

    Paladin

    • The Paladin has 25 strength, 20 dexterity, 25 vitality, 15 energy, 15 mana, 89 stamina, and 55 hit points. Paladin gains 2 life, 1 stamina, and 1 1/2 mana at every level and 3 life and 1 stamina for each vitality point. One energy point gives him 1 1/2 mana.

    Druid

    • The Druid begins with 15 strength, 20 dexterity, 25 vitality, 20 energy, 84 stamina, 55 life, and 20 mana. For each level, the Druid gets 1 stamina, 1 1/2 life, and 2 mana. Each vitality point gives the Druid 2 life and 1 stamina and each energy point gives the Druid 2 mana.

    Assassin

    • The Assassin begins with 20 strength, 20 dexterity, 20 vitality, 25 energy, 50 hit points, 95 stamina, and 25 mana. He gains 2 life, 1 1/4 stamina, and 1 1/2 mana on each level. Each vitality point gives the Assassin 3 life and 1 1/4 stamina and each energy point brings him 1 3/4 mana.
