Because our eyes are a fragile, vital part of our body and need to be cared for just like the other parts of our body.
Our eyes are one of the organs in our body that are constantly moving; even when we're asleep, they're still moving constantly.
We can't stop our eyes from moving because their movement is what keeps them lubricated and our eyes have to be lubricated.
We can, however, slow them down and get them to relax.
And relaxing the eyes is a great way to improve eyesight naturally.
If you want to relax your eyes, you have to relax your mind first.
When your mind is constantly running, your eyes will try to keep up by straining themselves.
Through the art of palming you can relax your eyes and your mind at the same time.
Palming is a simple procedure that takes less than 20 minutes to do.
However, you can do it for as long as it takes to get your eyes to relax.
Practicing this technique often will help improve eyesight naturally and keep it improving continuously.
First, rub your hands together and get them warmed up.
Then, put one of your palms over each of your eyes.
It's important you cup your hands so your palms don't put pressure on your eyes or touch the eyelids at all.
You will want to be resting your elbows on something hard like a countertop or a desk.
Now, just relax; completely relax.
While your palms are resting over your closed eyes, concentrate on feeling your muscles start to relax.
Feel the muscles in the top of you head relax and move slowly down your body; feeling each muscle group relax as you go.
The more relaxed you can be, the darker things will seem to your eyes.
When you first start palming, things may look grey, but as you relax more they will get black and will continue to get darker as you relax further.
The darker things get, the more relaxed your eyes will be.
For this to work, you'll need to clear your mind of all its thoughts.
Forget about everything you need to do tomorrow and just focus on the darkness around you.
If this is hard for you to do, you can try picturing relaxing things like the waves rolling onto a beach or a babbling stream.
If you want this technique to be effective, try to remain in this relaxed state for at least 15 minutes.
When you open your eyes after being in this relaxed state, you'll notice that things are more focused than they were before.
You will notice that shapes, lines, and colors will all be better defined and that your overall vision has improved greatly.
