Mass Storage Capabilities

• The Instinct S30's mass storage capabilities allow you to transfer data between your phone and computer. Prepare your phone to transfer data by installing the USB drivers included in the phone's packaging. After installation, connect the phone with a USB cable and double-click on its icon in the Computer folder on your computer. Double-click “DCIM” and select a folder to transfer data. Drag the data files to the phone's folder and drop them to complete the transfer.
  
  

Music Player/Camera

• The built-in music player on the Instinct S30 is capable of playing MP3, MIDI and WAV file formats. Music added from the Sprint music store and transferred from the computer is added to the phone's player by scanning for music from within the player's music. The S30 also can take full-color pictures. Share a picture by pressing “Menu” while viewing it, and then touching the “Compose” icon. Enter the recipient's information and touch “Send.”
  
  

Email

• In addition to the ability to send pictures, the Instinct S30 can send and receive email messages. You can set up multiple email accounts on the phone. Access the Email application from the phone's main menu. The setup wizard opens automatically when first accessed to guide you through setup. After setting up the first account, touch “More” to add additional email accounts. Email is accessible as long as you are within Sprint's network.
  
  

Security

• The Instinct S30 has many safeguards in place to ensure your privacy. You can set the phone to lock when you are not using it. Setting the lock can prevent someone from using your phone or accessing your messages without your authorization. The lock for the phone is enabled through the Settings menu. The phone even allows you to set a parental control code from within the Settings menu. The code keeps children from accessing restricted material that is not age-appropriate.
