Replacing the batteries

• According to the owner's manual, you cannot replace the batteries inside a Sonicare toothbrush. If it's within two years of the purchase, you can use the warranty to get a replacement toothbrush when your batteries die, but if it's after two years you'll need to replace the toothbrush on your own.
  
  

Recycling the batteries

• You can recycle the batteries. To do this, use a flat-head screwdriver to pry the toothbrush open. Remove the batteries, place them in a container, and take them to your local recycling plant.
