    The Magnificent Mile

    • Chicago offers a wide range of shopping. The most popular spot is the Magnificent Mile. This area runs along North Michigan Ave from the Chicago River to Oak Street. You will find everything from upscale boutiques to discount stores. This is every shopper's paradise. Many stores, such as Bloomingdales, Lord and Taylor and Nordstrom, are located in this strip. You can also shop for home goods at Crate and Barrel or Pottery Barn. The Magnificent Mile also has indoor shopping malls, such as Water Tower Place.

    Riverboat Gambling

    • Chicago riverboats are located along the Fox, Des Plains, Illinois and Mississippi Rivers. These casinos offer a wide variety of slot machines, craps, blackjack, poker, roulette and baccarat.     Navy Pier

You will also find an 18-hole miniature golf course and cliff climbing structure. The kids can enjoy a Fun House Maze and Children's Museum. Navy Pier has a Shakespeare Theater as well as IMAX Theater. Navy Pier houses two performance stages, one for various bands and the other for musicals. There is plenty of shopping and restaurants. You an even take a boat cruise, such as the Mystic Blue Cruise, to see the spectacular Chicago skyline.
