Regrow Hair: Use Products That Are Scientifically Proven To Work

Most people who suffer hair loss can regrow hair, and they shouldn't settle for less than that. Unfortunately, too many of them waste time--and money--on products that don't work.

Both male and female hair loss is most often the result of androgenic alopecia. It's usually shortened to alopecia when referring to baldness in women, and commonly called male pattern baldness when it occurs in men. Many people who suffer from hair loss find it affects their confidence levels and self esteem.

Baldness in the form of androgenic alopecia is caused by otherwise harmless hormonal abnormalities. These abnormalities appear as you age, and cause your hair to thin and finally fall out. The hormonal abnormalities result from a relatively common inherited genetic trait.

Because going bald is so undesirable for both men and women, treatment products abound. Most treatments for baldness, unfortunately, are unabashedly cashing in on the desperation of those who want to regrow hair. They sell you products which will not regrow your hair--and they know this, because most hair growth products include ingredients which have been extensively studied.

That's why you should never invest your money--or your hopes--in a product whose active ingredients aren't approved by the Federal Drug Administration for the regrowth of hair. Thankfully, there are products with these ingredients, which have proven to be very successful in both stopping further hair loss and promoting the regrowth of hair that has fallen out.

One of these very few FDA approved substances is called minoxidil. Minoxidil is the most widely successful treatment for balding; it works for more people than any other. For women, in fact, no other ingredient has been approved for the treatment of baldness. It can't, of course, change your genes, but it compensates for the hormonal differences they cause and the androgenic alopecia which results.

In addition to seeking a medication that will help your hair begin to grow back, you should take the necessary steps to make sure that your hair is as healthy and strong as possible. After all, the only thing better than having your hair back is having it back shinier and more vibrant than ever before.

The key factor here is nutrition. Your hair's health depends upon the inclusion of sufficient levels of certain nutrients in your diet. Vitamin B6 and biotin are two among many vitamins and minerals that lead to healthier hair. Take a supplement if you think your diet needs a boost.

Until you commence treatment with an FDA approved treatment to Regrow Hair, you won't see the results you deserve.
