How to Remove BlackBerry Desktop Redirector Software Successfully
- 1). Press the "Menu" button on the BlackBerry and then scroll down to the "Options" menu (it looks like a wrench). Press the trackball to enter the menu.
- 2). Scroll to "Advanced Options" and press the trackball. Scroll down to "Service Book" in the "Advanced Options" menu and press the trackball.
- 3). Scroll down and highlight "Desktop [CMIME]." Press the "Menu" button, scroll to "Delete," and press the trackball.
- 1). Click on the Start menu or the "Window" icon on the bottom left-hand corner of the Desktop. Click on "Control Panel."
- 2). In the Control Panel window, click on the "Add/Remove Programs" link to open the "Add/Remove Programs" window. Scroll down to "BlackBerry Desktop Manager." Click on the program and click "Change/Remove." Once the uninstall window opens, click on "Uninstall." Follow the prompts to uninstall the program.
- 3). Go to http://na.blackberry.com/eng/services/desktop to download the Desktop Manager software for the BlackBerry. Once it is downloaded, click on the setup file and follow the prompts to reinstall the program. Do not select the option to install the Redirector program.
