Soft Reset

• 1). Remove the stylus from your phone.
  
  
• 2). Locate the reset button to the right of the USB port on the bottom of the phone.
  
  
• 3). Use the stylus to depress the reset button.
  
  
• 4). Wait five seconds, then remove stylus.
  
  
• 5). Wait for phone to return to normal operations.
  
  

Hard Reset

• 1). Remove the stylus from your phone. (See Reference 1)
  
  
• 2). Press and hold "Talk" and "End" buttons.
  
  
• 3). While buttons are depressed, use the stylus to depress the reset button. You will then see this message: "This operation will delete all your personal data, and reset all settings to manufacturer default. Press Action to restore manufacturer default, or press other keys to cancel."
  
  
• 4). Release the "Talk" and "End" buttons and press "Enter."
