It is also said that some particular kinds of handrails are trickier to put together than others. The handrails are composed of straight boards connected with one another. Installing handrails is the last job of constructing the entire stair system. Usually, it starts with the finishing of the wood and attached with the rest of the stair system, and finally the set of connected pieces appears as a single continuous piece.

Usually, the handrails are connected to the staircase through several parts. Handrail brackets are attached with the balusters and placed vertically to the staircase flooring also known as the tread. In fact, according ot the domestic staircase regulation, the distance between the handrails and the floor must be a minimum of 900 mm. In case, the required minimum distance is not maintained, there are chances of minor stair accidents. If the balusters are shorter, the staircase may not provide enough side protection.
