    Decks

    • The Coral Princess has a total of 16 decks. The medical center occupies the lowest passenger deck, with all crew quarters and operational decks located below. The main entrance, front desk and guest services are located on deck 5. Decks 4 through 7 hold the bulk of the ship's indoor features, and do not house staterooms. Decks 9 through 11 have staterooms only. Decks 12 to 16 hold the outdoor attractions. The ship does not have a 13th deck.

    Staterooms

    • The Coral Princess was designed specifically to traverse the Panama Canal. As a result, 90 percent of its 984 cabins provide ocean views, with 700 of those being balcony rooms. The ship also has inside cabins, mini oceanview suites, mini suites with balcony and balcony suites. All stateroom categories offer standard equipment, such as beds that can be converted from two singles to one queen, TV, refrigerator and shower. Suites provide additional features like bathtub, multiple TVs and sofa beds.

    • Standout activities on the Coral Princess include a swim-in-place lap pool, nine-hole putting golf course, golf simulator, all-purpose sports venue with basketball and tennis courts, and the "Movies Under the Stars" outdoor cinema, where full-length features are screened nightly. Indoor standouts include the Princess Scholarship@Sea program, which provides educational lessons, art shows, and talks led by recognized topical experts. The cruise line's signature "sanctuary," an outdoor spa and wellness center, provides massage services, private cabanas, MP3 players loaded with soothing music, and an assortment of healthy snacks and beverages.

    Facts

    • Every October for two weeks, the Coral Princess is kept in dry dock at Grand Bahama Shipyard in Freeport. During this time the ship undergoes an annual refurbishment overhaul. Improvements are made, features are added and any necessary repairs or maintenance are performed in this short period.
