How to Treat Calluses
Things You'll Need
Instructions
1Soak your feet in a warm foot bath for 15 to 20 minutes. Pat dry with a towel. Rub a moisturizer into the calluses. Allow to set for five minutes. Put your feet back into the foot bath for another five minutes. Pat dry once more.
2
Scrub your calluses with a pumice stone. Wipe with a wet cloth and continue scrubbing. Continue this until your calluses are smooth.
3
Lather your feet in moisturizer at night. Put on moisturizing socks, these are specialty socks that trap the lotion/moisturizer in and keep your feet soft and smooth. Sleep in these for a few nights.
4
Put corn or callus pads on your calluses during the day. Secure the pads with medical tape. Avoid going barefoot or wearing shoes with heel straps that wrap around your heels and can irritate the skin causing more calluses.
