Download Vista

• 1). Go to Microsoft's Get Windows Vista page (see Resources).
  
  
• 2). Click on "Visit our online stores" to purchase a copy of Windows Vista.
  
  
• 3). Download the copy you have purchased, or wait for it to arrive in the mail. Put the disk into your computer or click on the program once you have downloaded it.
  
  
• 4). Follow the on-screen prompts to install Vista on your computer.
  
  

Download XP

• 1). Download the Windows XP floppy boot drives from Microsoft (see Resources). These are the drivers you will need to install Windows XP. Input your credit card information to pay for XP. If you already have XP but need a replacement boot drive or CD-ROM, you can download them from the same page with your existing product keys.
  
  
• 2). Click "Run" to run the files once you have downloaded them.
  
  
• 3). Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation of XP and restart your computer.
