    • 1). Roll and smooth a small ball of Play-Doh in the palms of your hands. Press the ball to flatten it slightly. This will be the scorpion's head.

    • 2). Create a cylinder by rolling a ball of Play-Doh back and forth in your palms. Flatten the cylinder, making one end wider than the other. The piece will resemble a triangle. This is the scorpion body.

    • 3). Connect the widest end of the body to the head by smoothing and rubbing the end of the body to one side of the head. The head will appear flatter where it connects to the body, and rounder on the other end.

    • 4). Make six small tail sections by rolling balls of Play-Doh back and forth in your palms, as with the cylinder. Build the tail by connecting these sections to the narrow end of the body. Connect the first to the body and follow with the other five, creating an upward chain. The last two sections should curve down and inward, toward the body.

    • 5). Roll eight slender tubes for legs. Connect four legs to each side by smoothing the end of the leg onto the body.

    • 6). Add two pinchers to the front section underneath the head. The pinchers are short slender tubes with a V-shape on the end. Attach the tubes under the scorpion's head.
