How to Uninstall Software Completely in the Registry Keys

    • 1). Open the Windows "Registry Editor" by clicking the "Start" button in the lower left corner of the desktop. Click on "Run" and then type "regedit" into the text box that is displayed.

    • 2). Initiate a search for the software that you want to uninstall. Go to the "Edit" menu located at the top left of the window.

    • 3). Select "Find" or press the "CTRL+F" keys together on your keyboard; this will bring up the "Find" text dialog box. Enter the software name and click "Find."

    • 4). Analyze each individual registry key associated with the software and delete the key to uninstall the software. Pressing "CTRL+F" together on your key board will take you to each instance of the software registry string.

    • 5). Repeat the steps for individual software that you would like to uninstall. Remember to delete every registry key associated with the program.

    • 6). Reboot your computer system and log back on.
