How to Upgrade a JTAG for the Strong 4610
- 1). Go to the link in the reference section and download software update for your region.
- 2). Go to the folder, on your computer, where you downloaded the software files.
- 3). Connect the computer to the Strong 4610 with a RS-232C cable.
- 4). Go to the DownLoader V_1.21 window on the computer and choose "Open from the File Menu". Select the "srt4610a.bin" or "srt4610b.bin" from the directory you have saved the file. Select the "Com Port" and select the "Start" option.
- 5). Turn the receiver's power "On" and it will display "r1", "r2", "r3"...."rx" on the front of the receiver. When it is done downloading the file, "SUCC" will appear.
- 6). Turn the power off on the receiver.
