How to Capture Images From an Internet Explorer Window in Windows XP
- 1). Launch Internet Explorer by double-clicking on its desktop icon.
- 2). Navigate to the website with the contents you want to capture in an image. Enter any necessary logins required by the website before displaying its contents.
- 3). Click anywhere on the Internet Explorer window, then press "Alt" and "Print Screen" on your keyboard. Some keyboards have the "Print Screen" key labeled as "Prnt Scrn" or some other abbreviation. Windows XP will save the image to the clipboard.
- 4). Open Microsoft Paint, a program that is included with every copy of Windows, by clicking "Start," then "All Programs," then "Accessories," and then "Paint." Paint will launch and display a blank canvas. Click "Edit," and then select "Paste." The Internet Explorer image will become part of the current Paint image.
- 5). Save the current Paint canvas to disk by clicking "File," then "Save as," then "Save." At that time, the image from Internet Explorer's window will be saved to disk.
