Teen pregnancy is when an under aged teen (around 13-19 years old) becomes pregnant.

As a friend to someone who got his girlfriend pregnant, I can say that my friend made the right choice of NOT hiding the situation.
They were open with it.
They answered honestly to anyone asking them about their situation.
But, at the same time, they didn't go around telling everyone of what happened.
The good thing about what they did was they wouldn't feel ashamed with people around them.
They would have a peace of mind know that people around them are not gossiping about them.
My friend is saving money and works very hard with his responsibility in mind.
Even after what happened, they may have been surprised by the situation, but it doesn't mean they can't build a good family.
Building their family is in their hand.
It is very crucial to be responsible in these kinds of situation.
Being a young mom is hard.
One doesn't have the transition from being a teen, to being an adult and eventually learning to be a lot more responsible.
Instead, as a teen one learns the responsibilities of, not just being an adult but, being a mother.
On the contrary, one is forced to be a responsible mother rather than to slowly learn it through womanhood.
This is where the role of a doctor comes in handy.
One would need to know the basics of baby care, child health and also family health.
Having a baby, if well planned, is the greatest thing parents can have.
But in this case, it would be something that one would need to learn within 9 months, along with going through the pregnancy.
Baby care is very essential, since babies are very delicate.
Since they are still young and haven't developed immunities to certain common diseases, aside from the vaccine they were given, they are very delicate and are very prone to diseases.
They also require a lot of time since they cannot take care of themselves and all they can do to get your attention is to cry.
So basically, a teen mother would need to quit school and would be unable to get a job because she would need to take care of her baby.
But this doesn't mean that see can't have a good future.
With her partner being responsible enough they can still have a good family and a good future ahead of them.
