Good Conversion Ratio Receives Number of Visitors

We normally see that 1% or 2% of conversion ratio is good, which means that either one or two person takes the preferred act. Either they purchase, download or request for more details.

These numbers would affect differently to different people. Most of the sites would be disappointed by the conversation ratio of less than 10%, and many others would be happy with the conversion ratio of even 0.1%, as conversion ratio is one of the prominent measurements of your interactive advertising campaign. Basically conversion ratio of your site would depend upon the purpose of your site. For example, it is quite easy to create leads rather than to sell a product. Therefore you will anticipate the better conversion ratio in the lead rather than in the selling.

If you have just launched your website, then you might not be having enough sales or visitors to know about your conversion ratio. It is difficult to get visitors for the new site rather than the established sites. Conversion ratio should be the function of the site's purpose. Now let us assume that you have taken a realistic move to your website, and now it is working well. Thus you have good content which is beginning to pull traffic; also you have the other products and an associate program besides ebook. Now it may need 1000 visit to the site to create 100 visits to the sales presentation. Therefore if it brings just two sales, then your Conversion ratio is 2%. But, as relative to your website, which got 1000 hits in all, then ebook sale amounts to only 0.2% of the total visit.

If you are new to a web then the most difficult task is to increase the target traffic. Thus it requires lot of patience, practice and time. Meanwhile you can put some questions to yourself: whether the content indirectly points to the way which actually helps in increasing sales. Can you enhance your sales presentations?

Till you create 300 visits per day, checking is not likely to "show "the efficiency of the changes. In reality, even the 1000 visits per day, would be required to assess the results. To present it in another manner, for example you have 1000 visits each day, so if you set the new or better sales presentations then your conversion ratio might leap from 2% to 4% and there is no choice, it even stays there. You might even decide to change it even if you see a little decrease in your ratio. As the result from 1000 visit per day could be contingent. So the new page might be considered as good, as long as long there would not be any drop. By this choice one hopes for gain in coming times.

At the end of it, it is always an issue of judgment. If you get few visits, then you might have nothing else to follow rather than your instincts. By having number of visits, you will not just have the good foundations to put your judgments across, but also you will be benefited from the much greater experiences.
