Battery Park in a Day

Many Americans can trace their heritage back to this event because most of Ireland's population was forced to emigrate do to the lack of food at home. This time in Ireland's history was called the Great Hunger. This was when the potato crops, one of their main food staples, were destroyed. This attraction is a place to remember how many immigrated to the United Stats.

It is located on the side of the Hudson River. It has some of the best views of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and New Jersey. These views make it a great place to eat and relax while in Battery Park for the day.
