    Setting the Continuous Shooting Mode

    • Choose a continuous shooting mode by pressing the continuous shooting button -- to the left of the shutter button and marked with a camera icon -- while using the right and left navigation arrows on the four-direction button on the back of the camera. The setting is displayed among the top row of symbols on the LCD monitor. Repeat the process to switch back to single-frame shooting mode.

    Three Fast-Shooting Options

    • The "top 3-frame" option tells the camera to shoot three frames each time the shutter button is pushed.

The "final 3-frame" option allows the photographer to shoot a series of up to 40 frames but only saves the last three shots. This is useful for shooting action and allows the photographer to get into position while shooting.

With the "long-period" option, you can shoot and save up to 40 frames at once. And the "auto-bracketing" mode adjusts the exposure of each picture.

    About Auto-Bracketing

    • The FinePix S5600 will automatically bracket the exposure in the final continuous shooting mode, called "auto-bracket." In this mode, the camera will shoot three pictures when the shutter is pressed, each at a different exposure setting. One will be at what the camera determines is the correct exposure, one will be underexposed and one will be overexposed. Professional photographers often use bracketing to ensure they get the best combination of shutter speed and aperture, or amount of light coming through the lens, for each picture.
