If diagnosed with ADD you can follow simple steps to helping your child instead of going the medication route.
Step Three 1) Twenty to thirty minutes a day of exercise needs to be incorporated into your child's daily schedule.
2) Organize your house for yourself and your child.
Show him/her how to be responsible and make life flow smoothly.
3) Nature walks with the allotted exercise time is highly recommended.
Time spent with nature is crucial for the ADD child.
4) Follow a special diet that is very nutritious.
Why Does Your Child Have ADD? First of all, do not blame yourself.
You did not 'give' your child ADD intentionally.
It is thought that ADD is hereditary and runs in some families.
No one knows the exact true cause of ADD.
Just know it is not your fault.
Also, ADD is not contagious.
Bad parenting does not cause ADD.
Instead of worrying that you caused your child to have ADD focus on how to help your child.
