The two greatest factors that are going to help you Get Rid of Fat Belly are Exercise and proteins.
Thats it! In a nutshell these are your greatest allies if you wish to lose excess body fat, cure or avoid obesity, and achieve lasting weight loss.
Here is how proteins relate to metabolism and fat loss Now here is the technical part, and once you understand this it will be the driving force to shifting your mindset.
See you can tell yourself not to eat chips, or not to get Pizza and that you should really eat fish and veggies but in a moment of weakness when an aroma makes your taste buds salivate its easy to push those thoughts to the back of your mind and let your old thoughts take over.
However, once you have the crux of the information and the solid foundation of knowledge you will be a little less apt to eat things that go against your mindset.
Before I get to this very important piece of knowledge that will rid you of and prevent the dreaded Fat belly I want you to understand a key term - thermic effect - The expression thermic effect of food is used to describe the energy expended by our bodies in order to consume (bite, chew and swallow) and process (digest, transport, metabolize and store) food.
This is how we expend energy by burning calories.
Now that you understand the thermic effect this is the part you need to bring it all together: Processing protein requires the greatest expenditure of energy, with estimates ranging as high as 30%.
Dietary fat, on the other hand, is so easily processed and turned into body fat that there is little thermic effect maybe about 2 to 3%.
Furthermore, all calories are not equal meaning if you eat an equal number of calories of protein, fat and carbohydrates, the calories in the fat are more likely to end up on your waist because fewer of them are burned off by the thermic effect.
Therefore, your body must work extra hard to process proteins than to process the fats or carbs.
So when you ingest proteins it boosts your metabolism tremendously which in turn burns fat which in turn gets rid of belly fat Although, it may not seem like it protein makes us feel more full than when we consume fats or carbohydrates.
To avoid food cravings you should eat proteins every 3 or maybe 4 hours.
