How to Change the G510 Color
- 1). Ensure the G510 keyboard is connected to your computer through its USB cable. Plug the USB cable into one of your computer's USB ports if it's not.
- 2). Open the "Logitech G-series Key Profiler." Search for this program by clicking on the Windows "Start" button at the left side of the bottom toolbar on your desktop. Type the program's name into the search bar that appears and press "Enter" on your keyboard.
- 3). Click on the program to open it.
- 4). Look at the top of the "Profiler" window that opens. There will be three buttons just under the "Default Configuration" listing. These are "M1", "M2" and "M3", from left to right. They are colored blue, purple and red, respectively. These represent some of the available backlight colors for your G510 keyboard.
- 5). Click on one of the buttons to select a color for your G510 keyboard. Each button represents a different keyboard layout, with different "hot keys" or shortcut keys, for each layout. Clicking the color beside each button will bring up a submenu with a full listing of colors and the option to create your own color. Select the color you prefer.
- 6). Exit the "Profiler" program and restart your computer. Your Logitech G510 keyboard will now reflect the new color choices in its backlight.
