Days after a put one of the most infamous serial killers in history away, he begins to receive anonymous phone calls from a homicidal maniac. He is told that he has 88 minutes to live. Gramm suddenly finds himself in a race against time to find the person who is trying to kill him before it is too late. In the end, he finds that the killer is much closer to him than he thought. Al Pacino delivers a fantastic performance as Dr. Jack Gramm, the intelligent and suave college professor who has his world turned upside down. The movie is also fantastic, keeping you guessing and on the edge of your seat until the end. This is a must see film.

The next best Al Pacino performance of the 2000s was his role as David "Rooster" Friske in the thriller "Righteous Kill". Al Pacino stars across from Robert DeNiro in this fantastic film that features an ensemble cast. The movie follows two cops as they try to find a vigilante serial killer who they suspect may also wear a badge. The film is a suspenseful thrill ride that is sure to surprise you. Pacino delivers a great performance as does Robert DeNiro.
