How to Organize a Hanging Pot Rack
- 1). Take notice as to the pots that are used most frequently. These pots and pans should be located on the outer ring of your pot rack. In addition, hang the pots on the side nearest your stove. This will be a great convenience to you.
- 2). Hang less used pots in the center of the rack. This will leave room for other items that are used on a daily basis. If there is still room on the outer rack for other pots, you can place them there. However, make sure that they are farther away from the stove area.
- 3). Use your hanging pot rack for other frequently used items. Utensils that are used daily should be hung on the outer section of the hanging pot rack. Some of the utensils you may want to hang there are tongs, spatulas and wire whisks, to name a few. Not all utensils should be hung on your pot rack. However, those used most often should be.
- 4). Place frequently used condiments on the top of the hanging rack. Most professional built hanging pot racks have a shelf. Place salt and pepper grinders as well as other frequently used items for cooking. Condiments such as cooking wine, vinegar and garlic powder are just some of the spices you may want to keep on the shelf. Again, the most used items should be up there and not all your spices.
- 5). Place one or two useful plants on the shelf of the hanging pot rack. Plants such as basil or parsley are great choices. When cooking, you can easily snip off a few leaves of these fresh herbal plants.
- 6). Keep items that are on your hanging pot rack to a minimum. When you organize your kitchen, the most important thing to consider is to display only that which you use most often. All other items can be stored in cupboards and drawers. This alone will add beauty because of the lack of clutter.
