David finds his way over to Dorian’s house, where she has gone all out to make everyone believe she has changed and is cleansing her soul and her life. Langston was pretty funny when she asked, “Are we Buddhists now?” Dorian’s response was even funnier when she said, “Namaste Cramer women.” David shows up after Dorian has filled the house with a bunch of strangers she intends to commune with. David tells her she isn’t serious because she hasn’t given up all her worldly possessions and comforts and when he tells her she can’t turn everything over to family, she gives everything to Moe.

Honestly, some of this is funny, like when David comes up with a nonsense words and screams it out in the middle of a sentence, but I hope it doesn’t go on for too long. It’s not really that much fun to watch and it’s going to get old quickly.

And okay, on the cute meter, Charlie scored a 100+ when he knew that Viki was so upset about what was going on with Jessica and then had to deal with Natalie. He cheered her up by toasting her a marshmallow in the fireplace. Charlie gets big points for making Viki smile. Geez, does anybody smile on this show any more?

In conclusion, I am sorry to those fans that had Michael Easton out the door and couldn’t wait to have that rumor of his departure be true. I heard that he has signed a new contract and I couldn’t be happier to have John sticking around Llanview. That’s why I never believe the rumors.

FAN FEEDBACK AND QUESTIONS

Vishi writes: “I am a huge John and Natalie fan and will always have hope that they will reunite someday, although nowadays I’m pretty much resigned to thinking that there is no chance of that for the immediate future.

I completely agree with you on your assessment of their special magic together. Whenever they see each other, they do have that connection that they don’t have with anyone else. And last week’s once in a lifetime scenes with John and Natalie was no exception. They were great and it really made my heart get a lot warmer. I know that John and Natalie are not the be-all, end-all on this show, but ever since they broke them up, the show has certainly lost any sense of really good stories! Their current story lines are just not working for them, as neither has had the same electricity that they had when they were together. Certain soap couples are always meant to be together and John and Natalie are one of these couples.”

Dear Vishi: I still hold out hope that TPTB will make some changes to the romantic couples on the show. We need some sparks and when John and Natalie were together, we got sparks. I think they had some very real problems to overcome, but deep down, the caring will always be there as far as I’m concerned and they never got a chance to give it a real go without a major roadblock being thrown in their way. With Michael Easton staying on the show, we still have hope.

Pam writes: “My understanding is that this was the last year for "Super Soap Weekend" at Disney. Do you know why they stopped the event? I went twice to the event had a good time but the crowds were terrible. I think they let too many people in. I read that the soap stars will be traveling around the States making appearances. Do you know where I can find out what the tour schedule will be and if all the Soaps will be represented or just one or two? I really only care about "One Life to Live".”

Dear Pam: Yes, the recent Super Soap Weekend was the last one planned. I don’t know the real reason why they aren’t continuing the tradition, but I did hear that it had something to do with money. Hey, what isn’t about money these days? As far as appearances go, I would check the popular soap websites (this one included) to check for upcoming events in your area where you can see the stars of One Life to Live. They post appearances all the time.
