Maya, a native of Ukraine, has been fascinated with music for as long as she has been fascinated with color and light. And for Maya, art is the most natural way to enhance life. She says: "I'm an artist because it's my nature and, in a certain way, my instinct; I can't live the other way.” She believes it is impossible to teach art, because it is an intangible ability and either exists within the artist or not.
