Cocos Island, often known as the Island of Sharks is a small holiday spot between Costa Rica and the Galapagos Islands.
It is the largest uninhabited island in the world.

In the middle of the channel a faster current can take you for a ride, however it is easy to swim away from and is considered completely safe.
Other fishes such as Napoleon Wrasse, Blue Fin Trevally, Sharks, Barracudas, Angelfish, Butterfly fish and Neon damsels can all be found here in the channel.
All these sea creatures can be found in the crystal clear water of Rip.
At the Gerhard's Canon, you will have the opportunity to meet the famous Kat, the lonely dugong.
The big fish who whistles music to every diver.
She is the main attraction in the Canon.
According to many tourist divers, she is a real beauty of the sea.
Her tail, while moving slowly, is extremely strong to allow her to escapes the hungry site seekers.
In Unicom's Playground and the Towers, there are unspoiled coral gardens, lots of rare parrot fish, and different species of angel and butterfly fish, surgeon and dart and fire gobies.
There is a healthy coral growth in the surrounding.
Nearby this diving site is the Cologne Gardens, where amazing Gorgonian fans grow at 35 meters.
