How to Add a Printer to an Asus Netbook
- 1). Navigate to the Windows "Start" button on your Asus netbook. Select "Devices and Printers" in the menu options, then click "Add a printer." The "Add Printer" wizard begins.
- 2). Click the option named "Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer" in the list of options. The next window searches for available printers. If your netbook is unable to identify the desired printer, click "The printer that I want isn't listed," which will prompt you for the printer's location and name.
- 3). Type the computer name and printer name in the text box. If you're unsure of the printer name, click the "Browse" button. In the opened dialog window, double-click the computer that has the printer connected, then double-click the printer name. The dialog window closes and the location and name of the printer are shown in the text box.
- 4). Click "Next." Select "Use an existing port," which is the default port selected. Click "Next."
- 5). Check the box named "Set as default printer" if you want to set this printer as the default printer each time you print a document. Click "Finish" to complete the printer addition.
