How to Use Fusion Drupal
- 1). Download the Fusion starter theme. Unzip the file on your computer. Browse through the unzipped folder for fusion_core and fusion_starter folders. Use an FTP client to upload the fusion_core and fusion_starter folder to the site's theme folder.
- 2). Log in to the dashboard of the Drupal site and go to Home/Administer/Site building/Themes. Click on the "Default" radio button next to Fusion Starter. Click on the "Enabled" box next to Fusion Starter. Click on the "Enabled" box next to Fusion Core. Click on the "Save configuration" button at the bottom of the page.
- 3). Download Skinr. Unzip the file on your computer. Use an FTP client to upload the unzipped file to the site's modules folder.
- 4). Go to the Home/Administer/Modules section of your site's dashboard. Look for Skinr in the list of modules and click on the "Enabled" box next to it. Click on "Save configuration button."
- 1). Go to Home/Administer/Site building/Themes and click on the "Configure" link on the Operations column next to Fusion Starter. Scroll down to the Fusion theme settings area and click on the "Layout" link. Select a fixed or fluid page width for your theme and a width for your fluid grid layout if applicable. Click on the "Save configuration" button at the bottom of the page.
- 2). Select a degraded drop-down menu. Go to Home/Administer/Site building/Menus/Primary links. Click on the "Expanded" box next to the menu item to which you want to apply the degraded drop-down menu. Click on the "Save configuration" button.
- 3). Go to Home/Administer/Site building/Blocks. Place blocks into regions of your site as desired. Click on the "Save blocks" button at the bottom of the page. Hover over a block. Click on the gear icon that appears on the block's upper right corner. On the block's configuration page, set the block styles and layout using the "Skinr" section on the page.
