What Is B-80 in Pansat?
- The Pansat 3500S and SD receivers have had two upgrades made available for owners since they were first sold. As of March 2011, the latest update is the B-80, downloadable at the company's website. It replaces the B-70 update, which improved upon the original setup of the unit.
- To acquire the file, go to the company's downloading website and hook the null modem cable that came with the unit to the computer and the receiver. Download the file and follow the onscreen directions to transfer the upgrade to your 3500 unit.
- Receivers meant to acquire free satellite are capable of receiving more than 3,500 channels that broadcast free programming. FTA receivers utilize direct satellite signalling, or DSS, in order to pull in broadcast material.
