• The Drake Hotel has a long history in Chicago. It first opened in 1920 and since then has hosted presidents, celebrities, the famous and the infamous. Aside from the usual amenities, the Drake also has wireless and high-speed internet access and a business center and allows dogs under 75 pounds. There is a $75 non-refundable pet service fee. • The Ritz-Carlton occupies floors 15 through 30 at Chicago's Water Tower Place, a must shopping destination when in Chicago. The hotel offers magnificent views of Chicago through its extra-large picture windows. It offers high-speed wireless access in rooms, and the lobby and provides IT support if needed. • The Four Seasons Hotel is also at Water Tower Place, but occupies floors 32 to 46. Each room has high-speed wired or wireless Internet and a refrigerated private bar. It offers several dining options, fitness facilities and an indoor pool. For children, there are child-sized bathrobes and an in-house storyteller who will come to your room and read your child a bedtime story. The Four Seasons also has a 24-hour business center. Trump International Hotel &Tower

• The Trump Hotel is the newest addition to Chicago's world-renowned skyline. Situated where the Chicago River meets Michigan Avenue, it is located close to the theater district and shopping on Michigan Avenue. The Trump Hotel offers a 23,000-square-foot spa and several in-house dining options. A signature service is the Trump attache. Assigned to a guest, the attache provides "comprehensive business and personal services," according to the Trump Hotel's website. Hotel staff will even prestock your refrigerator and kitchen in accordance with your preferences and have it ready for your arrival. • Hotel Sofitel is a 32-story glass building with stunning views of Chicago. It's located east of the John Hancock Center and is a short walk to Magnificent Mile shopping and beaches. Hotel Sofitel has a restaurant that serves French cuisine and a bar for relaxing conversation. Rooms have marble baths, and the hotel boasts 10,000 square feet of meeting space.
