How to Set Up a Bestway 15 Foot Swimming Pool
- 1). Pound a 10-penny 12-inch nail six inches into the ground with a hammer to mark the center of your pool.
- 2). Tie a string that measures 7 1/2 feet in length to the nail.
- 3). Hold a can of marking paint upside down at the end of the string. Hold the string taut and walk around in a circle while you spray the paint. This creates a 15-foot diameter for the pool.
- 4). Drill a hole through the 1-inch side of a board that is 1 inch by 6 inches by 7 1/2 feet. Use a drill bit that will allow a snug fit for the 10-penny nail, and drill the hole as close to the end of the board as possible. Slide the board onto the 10-penny nail.
- 5). Tape a level to the top of the board with duct tape.
- 6). Rotate the board around the circle while keeping the board level. While doing so, remove high spots of dirt and place that dirt into low spots.
- 7). Fill in low spots that you could not fill using the dirt removed from the circle with fill dirt from elsewhere.
- 8). Remove the board and nail from the ground.
- 9). Place the pool over the flattened area and inflate it to a point where the top ring is large, round and firm to the touch. The pool does not have a specific PSI (pounds per square inch) reading you must obtain. Use an air compressor to inflate the pool.

Fill the pool with water until it is approximately 80-percent full.
