Langhorne Slim Biography:
Langhorne Slim (Sean Scolnick) was born in August, 1980. He grew up in Langhorne, Penn., before moving to New York to attend SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Music.
After graduating from Purchase, Slim started playing out in New York, and recorded his Electric Love Letter EP for Narnack Records in 2004. He began touring rigorously in 2005-06, during which time the War Eagles line-up solidified. He has released four albums in all, including his 2008 self-titled disc on Kemado Records.
Now based out of Brooklyn, NY, Langhorne Slim and the War Eagles maintain a rigorous tour schedule, and have held opening slots for Violent Femmes, Rocky Votolato, the Avett Brothers, and others.
They've also frequented festivals all over the country, including Bumbershoot, Bonnaroo, and Pickathon.
