Jack's Escape

Jack waits for the door to open, then lunges at Juliet. She tries to get her dart gun, but can't get it. Jack puts her in a choke hold and drags her out to the hall.
He sees a door and tells her to open it. She seems very scared and says she can't, that if she opens it they die.

He keeps telling her to open it and she keeps refusing. Non-Henry walks in and says, "She's telling the truth, Jack."

"I swear to God," Jack says, "I will kill her!"

"Okay," non-Henry says, "have her open the door and she dies anyway. We all do."

He lets go of Juliet and turns the wheel on the door. Juliet and non-Henry take off for the far door. Non-Henry gets there first and slams it, trapping Juliet inside.

Jack opens the door and a flood of water comes in. He and Julie are thrown all over the place. Juliet calls for him, saying, "Over here." Together, they are able to shut the door.

"The button," she yells. "The yellow button, the button."

He presses the button and then she knocks him out.

Fish Biscuit

Sawyer reaches for a rock outside his cage. He gets it and drags it into the cage and puts it on one of the levers. Then he takes off his shoe and presses the food button. He throws his shoe at the other lever and music plays. The recorded voice says, "Reward."
A fish biscuit comes out of the slot. "Oh come on," Sawyer says. He smells the biscuit. Something that looks like corn comes out of the slot onto his feet.

"Unbelievable."

He sniffs the biscuit and takes a bite. Water comes out of a pipe and he drinks.

"Keep moving," Tom says. Sawyer looks up and sees Tom leading Kate to the cage opposite Sawyer's. She is teary as she walks by Sawyer.

Tom takes off her cuffs and tells her he'll bring some aloe later for her wrists.

Sawyer asks for an Ottoman and a blow dryer.

"Hey," Tom says, "you got yourself a fish biscuit. How'd you do that?"

"I figured out your complicated gizmos, that's how."

"Only took the bears two hours." He laughs.

"How many of them were there?"

Tom walks away.

"You okay, Freckles?" Sawyer asks.

She says yeah and asks him. He says swell, but he'd requested her cage. "Nice dress."

"They made me wear it."

"You hungry?" He throws her the fish biscuit.

The Jack Book

Jack wakes up back in the locked room. He sits up on the table. Juliet is on the other side of the glass reading something.
"It's an aquarium," Jack says about the room. "This things for what? Sharks?"

"Dolphins too," she says.

"We're under water, aren't we?"

"Yes."

"Is this one of their stations? The Dharma Initiative?"

"They called it the Hydra."

"So you people are just whatever is left over?"
"That was a long time ago. It doesn't matter who we were, it only matters who we are. We know exactly who you are, Jack Shephard."

She opens a book.

"You don't know anything about me."

She says that they know he was a spinal surgeon, and recites to him his old life. He was married, only once, and he contested the divorce. She has a copy of his dad's autopsy report.

"How did you get--"

"We got it."

"What is that?" he asks about the book.

She closes the book. "This, Jack, is your life."

"Is it just about me, or is it about my family too, my friends?"

"It's pretty much about everything."

"Do you know about my ex-wife?"

"Sarah. Yes, Jack, we know all about her. What would you like to find out?"

Jack's Flashback - Bailed Out

Sarah bails Jack out of jail. He asks how she knew and she says his dad told her. She says, "I called you a cab, so, bye."
She cries as she leaves. He follows her out and sees a man by her car. "Is that him?"

Sarah says it's not going to change anything and Jack says he just wants to know.
"It doesn't matter who he is. It just matters who you're not. Jack, your father, when he called me to help you, he was so drunk I could hardly understand him. Look at the bright side, now you have something to fix." She walks away with the man.

Ben

"What would you like to find out?" Juliet asks Jack.
"Is she happy?"

"Yes, Jack, she's very happy."

Jack cries.

"Now I'd like to bring you some food and water, but this time I need to know that you'll behave. Can I trust you, Jack?"

She goes out and non-Henry is standing there. "Good work, Juliet," he says.

"Thank you, Ben," she says.
