How to: Makeup for Women With Gray Hair
- 1). Fill your eyebrows in with taupe eye shadow. Your hair will usually go gray before your eyebrows. Avoid using a dark eyebrow pencil, as this will look too harsh with your light hair.
- 2). Apply neutral-toned eye shadow colors to your eyelids. White, charcoal or navy blue will look soft and complement the cool tone of your hair. Avoid anything with glitter, as it can get into wrinkles and make you look older.
- 3). Use a charcoal or gray eyeliner to line your eyes. Avoid black, as it will look very harsh.
- 4). Apply black mascara to your top and bottom lashes to open up your eyes.
- 5). Apply liquid foundation or tinted moisturizer to even out your skin tone. Try a light-reflecting foundation for a dewy look.
- 6). Dust rose or peach-colored blush to the apples of your cheeks. Feather the blush by using less pressure as you get near the hairline.
- 7). Finish your look off with a raspberry or red lipstick. You can add drama to your look with your lipstick, and it won't age you. Apply a dot of lip gloss to the bottom lip and rub your lips together for a glossy finish.
