Aimed at children, this Disney performance-capture animated film is based on the book by cartoonist Berkeley Breathed. Milo (enacted by Seth Green, but voiced by 11-year-old Seth Dusky) is a nine-year-old boy whose mother is abducted by Martians. They take her to the Red Planet, but Milo is able to get on their spacecraft, and upon reaching Mars, he sets out to try to rescue his mom.


On his quest, Milo is aided by an adult earthling called Gribble (Dan Fogler), and they are joined by a rebellious young Martian female named Ki (Elisabeth Harnois), who learned English watching '70s sitcoms.
