Enchanting Shri Shringeri Shankar Math In Siddapura
Shri Shringeri Shankar Math is a holy place located in Siddapura of Uttar Karnataka. The math was established in the year 1997 and it was opened with the blessing of Sri Bharathi Teertha Mahaswamiji. The splendid and beautiful structure of the Math complex is the special attraction of this place. The entrance of this Math is known as Mahadwara.
Lord Ganesh welcomes the devotees to this place. The main deities of the temple are Sri Sharadamba and Sri Shankara. The idols of the Gods are made up of marble and plated with silver foil. Dhyana Mandir is a vibrant place, where the statue of Sri Shankara is placed and the area adjoining this place is so cool and pleasant for meditation.
Next to Guru Bhavana there is a two floor building meant for accommodation. Samudaya Bhavana building is for teaching Vedic Sanskrit. The student who studies in this institution gets free boarding, dress, book and education. All types of facilities that are needed for education are provided by the management. Sri Bharathi Teertha Sabha Bhavana is a huge structure mainly meant for cultural activities.

It is about 230 kms from Bangalore and 130 kms from Hubli. Mangalore airport lies in close proximity to this place.
