How to Put a Wireless Camera in a Remote Location

Attach camera to the tripod or gorillapod by screwing it into the bottom of the camera. Move on to Step 3 if you are not using a tripod. - 3). Turn on the camera, followed by both transceivers. Test the shutter release by pressing the button on the off-camera transceiver. Ensure a clear line of sight from the camera to shutter release.

Place the camera in remote location. Secure the camera, either using the tripod or to a nearby object using ball bungees. Look through the eyepiece to set composition. If you are outdoors and rain is likely, place a protective cover such as a plastic bag around the camera. - 5
