Changing the Firefox Settings

• 1). Open Firefox.
  
  
• 2). Click on the "Tools" button on the control bar, at the top of the page, to open a drop-down menu.
  
  
• 3). Click on "Options" in the drop-down menu to open the "Options" box.
  
  
• 4). Click on the "Applications" panel at the top of the "Options" box.
  
  
• 5). Type "mailto" into the search bar and press the Enter key.
  
  
• 6). Click on the box next to "mailto" in the "Actions" column to open a drop-down menu and then click on "Use Outlook Express (default)."
  
  
• 7). Click on "OK" to save this setting and close the Options box.
  
  

Changing the Outlook Express Settings

• 1). Open Outlook Express.
  
  
• 2). Click on the "Tools" button on the control bar, at the top of the page, to open a drop-down menu.
  
  
• 3). Click on "Options" in the drop-down menu to open the "Options" box.
  
  
• 4). Click on the "General" tab at the top of the "Options" box.
  
  
• 5). Click on "This application is the default mail handler" under the heading "Default Messaging Programs" and then click on "OK" to save this setting.
