Rundown of the Power Struggle in the NFL"s NFC East

103 1
During the last few years, the NFC East division in the National Football League has been dominant with all four teams making a serious run at the playoffs.
Most of the commentators declared this and most fans agreed.
This year, the balance of power in the league has seemed to change and the NFC East is not the division it once was.
The New York Giants are still one of the best teams in the league and are well respected as such.
They have started the season in a great position and will look to continue their dominance.
Other than Eli Manning's recent minor injury, they have been pretty lucky and have not had many major injuries.
If everyone stays healthy, there's not reason why the Giants can't make a serious playoff run once again.
The Philadelphia Eagles are really the only other serious contender in the division to have a successful year.
They have a strong defense as usual and although Donovan McNabb has been out with an injury, Kevin Kolb and the rest of the offense has certainly picked up the slack and looked pretty impressive.
Once McNabb comes back, the Eagles should be considered one of the better teams in all of the NFC.
The Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins fall into the bottom bucket of the division and are not projected to make the playoffs.
The Cowboys have the talent and the potential to do well this year, but the inconsistent play of Tony Romo and questions about the coaching staff do not play in their favor.
The Redskins are not performing well and some are already calling for the firing of Jim Zorn, the head coach.
They continue to sit in the basement of the NFC East.
