Have you ever felt that you can't move your blog an inch forward? If you get stuck you should find solutions to get rid of it.
Leaving it as is thinking that it will go away later is a big mistake.
The feeling may be to intense that you may drop the blog forever.
Advancing with your blog is matter of knowing where you want to go, how to get there, and take the actions to go there.
That is exactly the approach that you take when you want to travel anywhere.
Here are some tips to help you get going with your blog: 1.
Back to the basics Learn the basic principles about what a blog is.
You shouldn't lose sight of your destination if you still want to go there.
If you are using a blog to cultivate relationship with the readers, you can offer a story every so often that ties in with the topic you blog.
For instance, blog about recent TV show and what you think the readers can take away from it.
This is one big mistake I made in the past.
After a while, if you are not expending effort to generate new and relevant ideas, you may come up with something completely off topic but cool enough to include within your blog.
Coming back to basics allows you to do the assessment and make a better decision about whether to do it or not.
2.
Enjoy the process There is no reason why you should do what you don't enjoy doing.
Life is too short for that.
However, finding your core value is a small change that you can make but it can make a big difference.
Are you doing something that is not in accordance with your core value? The good, but strange, thing about blogging is that when you focus on contribution, you will more likely get people to listen to you than if you try to pitch something from the start.
3.
Just blog anyway There are always times when you feel you don't want to do anything.
It is the passion that keeps you going.
Believe it or not, even when you are so close to your destination, sometimes you can feel bored that you want to give up.
It is important that you will yourself into doing it.
Once the feeling is gone, you will feel good about it.
Human being is good at procrastination.
You'll be surprised how much progress you make in the long run if you do it anyway even at times when you don't want to.
