How to Use Audio A/V Cable Instead of Video
- 1). Disconnect the current video cable from the television and source device you have the video signal originating from.
- 2). Plug the RCA audio/video cables into the "Audio/Video Out" ports on the source device (such as a DVD player or cable/satellite receiver).
- 3). Attach the opposite ends of the cables into the "Audio/Video In" ports on the television. Make sure the colors of the cables match the same colors of the connection ports.
- 4). Power on the TV and the connected equipment. Select "Input" on the TV, then choose "Video." The A/V cables send the audio/video signal into the TV, allowing it to produce the picture and sound.
