    Format the Media Card

    • 1). Shut down your BlackBerry, and insert your media card. Power up your BlackBerry, click "Options" and then "Media Card."

    • 2). Click the "Applications" button, located on the left side of the trackball.

    • 3). From the drop down menu, highlight and click "Format Card" and click "Yes" to format the media card.

    Enable Mass Storage Mode

    • 1). Click the "Options" icon," then click "Media Card" on your BlackBerry.

    • 2). Highlight "Mass Storage Support," click, choose "On" and click.

    • 3). Highlight and click "Auto Enable Mass Storage Mode When Connected," and choose "Yes" or "Enable."

    • 4). Press the "Menu" key, and then "Save."

    Transfer the Document

    • 1). On your computer, navigate to the file you want to transfer to your BlackBerry.

    • 2). Connect your BlackBerry to your computer using the USB cable. In the pop-up box choose "Open Folder to View Files Using Windows Explorer." Double-click on the destination file folder.

    • 3). Right-click inside your BlackBerry destination file, and choose "Paste." A copy of the file is placed on your BlackBerry. Close-out the BlackBerry folder and unplug the device.

    • 4). Right-click inside the BlackBerry destination file, and choose "Paste." A copy of the file is placed on your BlackBerry.
