How to Remove the Run Menu From the Start Menu

1). Right click the "Start" menu and select "Properties."
2). Click the "Start Menu" tab and then click "Customize."
3). Scroll down the list of available options and uncheck the "Run command" box. In XP, click the "Advanced" tab first, then uncheck the "Run command" box.
4). Click "OK" and then "OK" to save the new settings and close the window.
