How to Remove Windows Mobile ActiveSync
- 1). Click "Start," then hover the mouse pointer over "Settings" and click "Control Panel." In newer Windows versions, click "Start" and then "Control Panel."
- 2). Double-click "Add or Remove Programs" in Windows XP, or "Add/Remove Programs" in previous Windows versions. A new window appears, displaying the list of applications installed on the computer.
- 3). Click "Microsoft ActiveSync," and then click the "Remove" button in Windows XP or the "Add/Remove" button in previous Windows versions.
- 4). Click "Yes" at the prompt asking you to confirm that you are sure you want to remove ActiveSync from the computer. A status bar appears. When the status bar is filled, ActiveSync is removed from the computer.
- 5). Click "Yes" if Windows prompts you to restart the computer after the ActiveSync uninstall process is finished.
