How to Make a Payment on a Gap Credit Card Online
- 1). Go to the bottom of the page if you are shopping on the Gap website. Click on the link for "Gap Credit Cards." If you are not already on the Gap website, go directly to the Gap Card Member Account Services page.
- 2). Look for "Manage Your Account Online Anytime" and click on the link "Have a Card?". Log into your account by entering your user ID and clicking "Login." View your personalized image and enter your password to view the account. If this is your first time making a payment, go to the "New Users" box and click "Register."
- 3). Register by entering the account number for the card. Continue the online registration form and supply the required information, such as the last four digits of your Social Security number, email address, and date of birth as instructed.
- 4). Click on the "Pay Bill" icon and then click the link to "Add a Bank". Enter the name of your banking institution in the appropriate location. Type in your checking account number and your bank routing number.
- 5). Select how much of the bill you want to pay. Choose from "Total Minimum Payment Due," "Last Statement Balance," "Current Balance" and "Other." Enter the exact amount you want to pay if choosing "Other."
- 6). Click the "Submit" button after confirming that the entered information is correct. Look in your email account for confirmation that a payment has been submitted.
