How to Install Terminal Services in XP Home
- 1). Click in the bottom left of your screen where it says Start. It will pull up a menu and from there you will select Control Panel. Once the control panel opens, you need to double click on the System icon. This will open your system settings. Once this opens you will see several tabs. This is where you configure the settings for Windows XP.
- 2). Click on the tab that says Remote. This is the Remote Assistance section. Once there you want to check where it says 'allow users to connect remotely to this computer'. You have now enabled the Remote Desktop for this computer.
- 3). Click on the button that says "Apply"--this will save your new settings. Now click the button that says "OK". This will close the system properties window.
