    • 1). Log in to Windows Vista with administrative privileges. Click "Start." Type "Command Prompt" into the search bar. Hit "Enter." Right-click "Command Prompt" from the results.

    • 2). Click "Run as administrator." Enter your password into the required field, or click "Continue."

    • 3). Type, or copy and paste, the command "netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled" into the window. Hit "Enter."

    • 4). Type "exit," followed by "Enter," to close Command Prompt. Restart your computer for your changes to take effect.
