Lose Belly Fat Fast - Not Just a Diet - It"s a Way of Life (Part 2)
The statistics that I mentioned in the Part 1 of this article does not even include or mention the millions of children that are obese (coming soon in an article), eating ding dongs, sitting in their rooms on their behinds playing mindless video games.
Hey, I am not only preaching to you but myself as well.
I have seven children of my own and although none of them are obese, they all sit around playing mindless video games.
That's not to say that they eat like they should either, far from it.
If I look in pantry, I will see any where from little Debbie Snacks, to Lays Potato Chips and the breakfast menu includes, Captain Crunch Berries, Frosted Flakes and for those of us that want to eat healthy there is the infamous shreadded wheat, oh wait I for got the frosted part.
I am telling you this because that is what we are programmed to buy, basically.
No, I don't eat that stuff, (although the kid in me wants to) and I use to and it's probably one of the reasons I am diabetic.
Now the responsible health conscious adult now living in me, prefers a bowl of oatmeal with berries and nuts and no sugar.
It really is pretty amazing if you think about how we really are pelted with food commercials that are nothing but toxic poison.
You would think that the Government would do something about it but I guess the Junk Food Lobbyist pay them off.
Besides they have too many other dire strait issues to deal with.
Ok, I'll get down off my cereal box now.
Ok, I lied, really I am sorry but I need to say more.
I can understand the commercials but why not advertise more healthy foods.
The majority of what we eat have tons of trans fats in them.
In other words they are meant to be sent to the stores and have a long shelf life.
These chemicals that are in these products are detrimental to our health.
They grab hold of us and turn into greasy fat, yuk.
They clog up our veins and are basically un natural.
Any way it really is time for people to take the reins of responsibility, slow down and make better choices.
Now I know it sounds like that my cubbard looks worse than yours and maybe it does, However, I have made it a conscious decision to work harder at being more healthy for myself and I am slowly getting my family acclimated to the new more healthier choices that we should be indulging in.
For instance to night I am cooking spaghetti for the evening meal tonight.
Now it is not your traditional spaghetti, it will not have ground beef in it but rather it will have ground turkey meat.
The pasta is whole grain and the sauce is lite.
Plus I put real chopped tomatoes, olives and mushrooms.
We will have French toast but it will be whole grain wheat French bread.
Sounds pretty good huh.
The cool thing is the kids can't tell the difference.
Although they can't, I will tell them any way because I think that it's important that they know why we are making the change.
This way they will understand and as they get to be adults, hopefully they will choose to make better choices for their families health.
I promised my self that I am going to get back to the weight I was when I got married.
That was twenty five years ago and 35 pounds lighter.
I am in the process of losing my belly fat and it's happening pretty fast.
I am on my way and I plan to be there with in the next four weeks.
As long as I stay away from junk and stick to the plan outlined below I will succeed.
